How to Connect Shopify to Frame Payments

Connect your Shopify store to Frame Payments in just a few minutes.


Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • An approved Frame Payments merchant account

  • An active Shopify store

  • Admin access to both Frame and Shopify


Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Open Integration Settings

  1. Log in to your Frame Payments dashboard

  2. Go to Settings → 3rd Party Platforms

  3. Click Connect Shopify


Step 2: Select Your Shopify Store

You'll be redirected to Shopify. Select your store from the dropdown, or log in if prompted.


Step 3: Install the Frame Payments Extension

Review the extension details, then click Install.


Step 4: Authorize Permissions

Shopify will show the permissions Frame needs. Click Install to grant access.


Step 5: Activate Frame Payments

You'll be redirected back to Frame. To complete setup:

  1. Go to Payments → See all other providers

  2. Find Frame Payments

  3. Click Activate


You're All Set!

Your Shopify store is now connected to Frame Payments.

What you can do now:

  • View transactions — All Shopify orders appear in your Frame dashboard

  • Manage orders — Click "Manage in Shopify" to jump directly to any order in Shopify Admin


Troubleshooting

Can't find Frame Payments in Shopify? Make sure you completed Step 1 from your Frame dashboard first. Your account must be approved for Live Payment Processing.

Getting an error during authorization? Confirm you have admin access to your Shopify store. Store staff accounts may not have permission to install payment providers.

Integration not showing as active? Double-check that you clicked Activate in Step 5. The extension may be installed but not enabled.
