How to Create a Payment Link in frameOS

Payment links let you accept payments by generating a unique URL which is then shared it with customer who will then complete checkout through a Frame-hosted page.

Before you begin

You must have at least one product created before setting up a payment link. If you haven't done that yet, follow the How to Create a Product guide first.


Step 1: Navigate to Payment Links

  • From the main menu, click Transactions, then select Payment Links.

Step 2: Create a new link

  • Click New Link in the top right corner.

Step 3: Name the link

  • Give your payment link a descriptive name. This is for your internal reference and will not be visible to customers.

Step 4: Add a product

  • Click Add Product. A dropdown will appear showing all products you have created. Select the product you want to associate with this link.

  • Note: You can only select one product type per link. If the first product you select is one-time, all products on that link must also be one-time.

Step 5: Configure customer data collection (optional)

  • You can require customers to provide additional information at checkout:

    • Phone number — Check the box if you need a phone number to complete or fulfill the transaction.

    • Shipping address — Toggle this on if the product requires physical delivery.

  • Both options can be enabled at the same time.

Step 6: Save and share

The payment link saves automatically as you configure it. Once set up:

  1. Click View payment link to preview the checkout experience from the customer's perspective.

  2. Return to your payment links list to copy the unique URL.

  3. Share the link via email, SMS, social media, or wherever you want it visible.


Managing your payment links

All payment links are accessible from the Payment Links page under Transactions. From there you can view, edit or delete any existing link.
